Ok, lead singers, it is important that if you are the lead man of the band, that your banter be good. Actually, it is very important. If you have bad banter between songs, than there will be no dynamic leading into your songs, which will cost you valuable response from your wanting crowd. So, spend some time on youtube watching your favorite rock-stars talk between songs. Learn what they do, and if it is something that you believe is effective and worthwhile, than try it out. There is nothing wrong with learning from the masters of rock and roll, I mean, we all have to learn from someone, right?
Well, keep rockin guys, don't stop, and never give up. Keep it real...

Tip for the guitar player, on "rock stance"
Ok, for all of you guitar players out there who want to rock out, but don't want to look like morons, let me share a secret with you, and it is called the rock stance. It is a visual technique that most amateur rockers don't possess, and i think that we can all agree on the fact that successful rock and roll is dependent almost as much on the visual as it is on the music, right? So, guitar players, listen closely.
Between epic jumps, or when you are not headbanging like a wild man, you know, those times when maybe you aren't doing much... Don't stand there looking like you are bored... get into your rock stance. First, set your feet about a little more than shoulder width apart. Than, straighten your back, so that you are standing up nice and straight. Gently, and cooly, nod your head to the beat. Then, if it is a long quiet part, pace forward, then back again. Keep this up, and from this position you can spring into whatever move comes next, whether it be an axe-wielding scissor jump, or mind-jostling headbanging, you will be good to go!
just remember, rock and roll is about the heart. You have to believe in it, and love it, if you want to succeed. Well, until next time, keep it real, keep rockin, and never... EVER... give up. love you guys...

Advice for drummers...keep it entertaining
Drummers, there is nothing that will kill a performance quicker than a dead drummer... you have got to be upbeat, utilize all of your drumming skills, and put on a show. A boring show is going to turn away people who even love your style, but a creative, energetic, entertaining show will hold the attention of not only those who love your style of music, but will even grab-hold of those that wouldn't otherwise be watching. If you make your show very entertaining, than trust me, people will be entertained... just dont think that because you are playing the drums, people will stay for the whole show, you gotta gret crazy, creative, and just a little bit insane...

An inexpensive lighting technique...
So, do you find yourself short on light when your band plays out? This can be a costly problem to fix when you consider how many par cans it would take to light the place up... However, there is an alternative to these expensive can lights that almost any band can afford... and that is those metal utility lights from like Wal-mart or home depot. You know, those ones with the silver covers? buy different color bulbs for those, build some stands out of metal, and you can have some pretty decent lights. there won't be any pulsating or chasing, but it is better than playing in the dark.
Well, hope this helps you all out. IN the meantime, keep rockin, never stop, and never...EVER... give up. keep it real guys...
